Rubber Scratching Mat

Description

A soft, durable, rubber mat, textured with raised cones which can be fixed onto a stable wall or fencing post which a horse can safely rub against to help relieve an annoying itch.

It is 60cm x 40cm, weighing only 1.33kg and comes with 6 holes in the corners/long sides so that it can be nailed or screwed onto a wall or post (washers included) and can therefore be used indoors or outdoors.

Check out our own installation in the second image, using 2 mats making it ideal for both horses and shetlands. Mounted on an 8ft x 6inch gate post sunk 3ft 6inches into the ground with a carpet laid to prevent ground erosion.
